The hosts purchased the property that Hemlock Ridge sits on in the winter of 2022, when it was just a vacant wooded lot. As this was the second project like this the couple had built, they new the pains and frustrations of trying to spend weekends living in the project that was being build constructed. The decision was made to build a 12x16 bunkhouse that would serve as a comfortable place to retreat to each evening after a long day of work on the main building. The bunkhouse was completed in the winter of 2023, it has two built in bunkhouse with a full on bottom and twin on top, a kitchenette with mini fridge and electric cooktop, and is heated by a woodstove that is perfectly sized for the space. To make the place as comfortable as possible, the place is decorated in rustic decor giving it a very New Hampshire feel. The only thing lacking during the time the hosts utilized this during construction was running water, they brought water in by the jug and used an outhouse.
**Please Note** Access into the Bunkhouse is not permitted by the guests in the main house, do feel free to enjoy the back deck and take a peak inside from the back door**
